My wife is several months pregnant and wanted to fish. We launched pretty late considering we normally are out at sunrise. We fished for about 3hrs and unfortunately we didn't catch anything. It was just too hot for my wife to be out in the heat while being so pregnant. We saw lots of fish swimming around so maybe the tough bit was a spawn thing. Even though we didn't catch anything my wife was happy to have wet a line. :o)

Pastor Bill joined me for a day on the lake. He had fished Chadwick previously with little success so I decided to give him the guided tour of a really great lake in our backyard. We fished for several hours and landed several fish each. After seeing the numbers and quality of the fish being boarded Bill once again gained confidence in the lake.

My buddy Joe and I hit Chadwick Lake this weekend since I wanted to make sure he caught fish. Chadwick is a very good lake despite the fishing pressure and of course when I want to ensure fish in the boat it turns out to be a tough day. It seems the fish were getting ready to spawn and were difficult to entice them to eat. We managed several fish but nothing of quality size other than one I caught. At least Joe got a fish or two whereas on another lake he may have skunked out completely.
