Club 2-Day Event: Lake Ontario

Weather: Cloudy/Heavy Rain/Heavy Winds
Water Temp: 71 Degrees

ONTARIO LAKE, NY – My local club had a 2-day event in honor of a past member who was struck ill and later passed away.  Many arrived on Friday to pre-fish the water with large fish being caught.  On Saturday the fishing got tough as a bad storm moved passed us.  Fortunately we were able to fish well before the storm struck and many of us limited out, nothing big but still limits.  On day two, Sunday, fishing was even tougher than the previous day.  Many struggled to find fish while a few of us limited out for the second day in a row.  This weekend was the first time I limited out in the club, twice for that matter.  I was going Iaconelli on the boat!

I limited out both days using MicroMunch senkos wacky rigged.  I nearly ran out of those senkos which would have been a disaster.  Lucky for me I was culling by the time I ran low on that specific piece of tackle.  The club certainly looks forward to a return visit to Ontario again in the immediate future.
