Croton Reservoir, NY — Wife and I went out to hit the Croton only to have a tough day of fishing. Grrr! We launched at 9am, a little late but we planned to be out all day. We kept landing short fish working every area of the reservoir. We tried rocks, weeds, laydowns, etc. The fish we found came off of weed edges but most were shorts. Our biggest 2 where 2.5lbs, one we actually weighed but the other was relatively the same in size. We ended fishing at 5pm with a mere 8 fish on the boat, 2 being picks. Most bass were not worthy of a photo but here is one I landed on a spinnerbait….
