Weather: Cloudy Skies
Water Temp: 74-75 Degrees
OPENING DAY, NEW YORK — This lake had been closed for 4 years since 9/11 so many anglers lined up to rent a boat to test the water. We launched at 6AM and fished until Noon. Started off on a steep shoreline with limited structure landing 3 smaller fish. Continued along the west shoreline landing much bigger fish as the structure become more abundant. Wife and I hooked up with several fish, the biggest catch caught by her. We were able to scout the majority of the lake and land some nice fish. Clouds started to scatter and day become clear and hot by noon. We had a great time fishing and left to enjoy the rest of our day, Fathers Day!
